Chocolate Chip Cookies

This is my favorite recipe for chocolate chip cookies that I have tried so far. It is from my Better Homes and Gardens cookbook.

1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/2 cups flour
Chocolate chips.

Bake at 375 for 8 minutes.

My favorite chocolate chips are Guittard chocolate chips. I found them at Maceys and they are really really good. They were even the same price as the Maceys chocolate chips. I like milk chocolate chips and these are really chocolaty.
